The status of usability varies considerable from one company to another. In many major software companies usability is still at a starting phase. Contextual design is used in some units of Nokia, and at Teamware. ISO 13407 is rather well know among usability practitioners. There are large usability groups at companies like Adage, Interacta, NETikos, Nokia, Idean Research, Teamware, and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
